Voices of Influence: Interview with Jim Gilmore

Jim Gilmore, who is the co-founder of Strategic Horizons LLP, a management advisory firm, specializes in publications, lectures, and consulting which is goaled at helping executives see the world differently. As an author, Jim’s thinking has been published in many of the world’s leading business publications including The Harvard Business Review, The Wall Street Journal, and the Investors Business Daily. He is also the co-author of The Experience Economy, Work is Theatre and Every Business A Stage, which was published by the Harvard Business School Press in 1999. In October of 2007, Harvard Business School Press released his latest co-authored work, Authenticity, What Consumers Really Want. As a lecturer, Jim is a Baton Fellow and a visiting lecturer Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia.

In this interview, Jim discusses his partnership with Joe Pine, as well as the concepts of Mass Customization, the Experience Economy, and Authenticity.
